Issue 6 closes Denis Mayer Jr.’s six-coin run within the observed nine-issue sequence.

CANADA RANGE & HABITAT

Boreal forest, wetlands, lakes and rivers

Moose occur across Canada’s boreal forests and often use wetlands, lakes and rivers. Long legs move through deep snow and wet ground, while aquatic plants form an important part of the diet.

REVERSE DESIGN

Reading the Moose reverse

The animal faces left beneath a flattened palmate antler. Short fur marks define the long muzzle and cheek, while the hanging bell beneath the jaw completes the species profile.
